The Program Specialist will serve as an administrative lead in supporting all five coordinating positions within the home based team in the areas of child development, special education, health, enrollment, and family and community partnerships.
Essential Functions
Adhere to all city, state, federal, and Early Head Start requirements relating to program operation.
Review and maintain the the selection, formulation, and dissemination of materials and resources related to child development, special education, family engagement, and health.
Develop and manage living training guidance (documentation, tools, resources) for employees and volunteers that orient them to their specific role, team, program, and related responsibilities.
Review, enter and accurately maintain information in Child Plus data systems and files as requested by coordinators, coach and supervisors
Provide administrative support for events, program and parent meetings and socializations in collaboration with the topics identified by the coordinators, coach and supervisors.
Serve as the liaison on the Early Head Start Program to the enrollment team to conduct outreach and complete intakes on new families
Follow-up on any missing EPSDT's, dental exams, consent forms, and referrals in process as requested
Gather, compile and qualitative and quantitative data from coordinators for reporting to funders
Serve as back up point person to all Coordinators as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Attend local seminars and meetings in order to maintain awareness of community services and resources for families.
Participate in the design of internal policies and procedures related to training, onboarding, or policies or procedures that intersect with work of the coordinating team
Coordinate group training where possible to maximize efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range for this position is $26.96 - $32.71, hourly. The starting rane for this position for external candidates is $26.96 - $32.71/hour
